Vintage Rolex GMT 1675 Fat Font Faded Bluish Black w/Silver Numbers Bezel Insert

This genuine and original vintage Rolex GMT 1675/0 fat font bezel insert with silver numbers has aged naturally over time to a bluish black hue.
It shows moderate wear with very minor bending
that will have no affect on its ability to be nestled into a bezel.
There is some paint loss and wear around the outer edges as well as some paint loss and wear around the bottom edges so it's possible that depending on the bezel being used some adhesive may be necessary to keep this insert firmly in place.
Vintage inserts are fragile.  Regardless of how good you think you may be at popping out and snapping in inserts, I've seen countless vintage inserts cracked and chipped at the hands of even the most skilled watchmakers.  Even NOS vintage inserts can have unseen integrity issues given storage, handling and environmental conditions over several decades.  While not foul proof, it's always advisable to have a skilled watchmaker handle the removal and placement of your vintage insert to lower the probability of something going wrong.  Additionally, inserts and bezels that weren't born together likely won't fit together seamlessly given decades of wear to each.  While an insert should fit snug into a bezel, often times adhesive is needed to keep it securely in place.
