    Description

    Vintage mid-century modern 18K yellow gold double sided Cartier cufflinks with spring tension mechanism and engraved plaid decoration. Dated 1954.
    One marked “Cartier FRANCE 18CTS”. Each marked twice “BTE” and French marker’s mark “GP” in a lozenge. Each marked multiple times with the French eagle indicating at least 750 fineness. Each marked with inventory number “12374”.
    Each engraved on one side “4-2-57” and “B2F”. Engraving could possibly be removed by a professional if desired.
    Very good condition with typical very minor surface wear. Free from damages and repair.
    Total weight is .37 oz T or 11.5 grams. Each measures
    1 5/8ths inches long, 3/8ths inches wide, and 3/16ths inches thick.
