    Awaiting your purchase is this very rare coin silver sugar tongs crafted by Simeon Soumaine in a wonderful traditional 18thC pattern. This special item remains in Good condition, (see condition report above), and bears monogram DS.
    Appraiser Notes: English born, then to NYC, this is a famous master silversmith to whom this maker's mark has been tentatively attributed. These are early tongs but similarly Myer Myers was making them at this time, as well.
