This is a historical Lynyrd Skynyrd lot including ULTRA RARE BLUE PLANE STRPE piece (2" X .75") folded as it was excavated from the site of the Covair CV240 jet that tragically crashed in the woods of Gillsburg, Mississippi on October 20th, 1977 at 6:42pm. Only time ever offered as it is super rare!! The piece of steel exhibits the extremely rare and hard to find plane blue stripe as it was excavated from the exact site of the plane crash by the first responder on the plane Mr. Dwain Easley!! Mr. Easley's family farm is the site of the plane crash. He is featured on " UTUBE " Lynyrd Skynyrd The Last Stop : An Emma Harrington project!!!
