This is a historical Lynyrd Skynyrd lot including huge (7.75" X 1.0") piece of the Covair CV240 jet that tragically crashed in the woods of Gillsburg, Mississippi on October 20th, 1977. The piece of steel exhibits The outer white fuselage and the liner as it was excavated from the exact site of the plane crash by survivor Gene Odom. The piece is pictured on the upper center.area with the other planes pieces on the certificate signed by Gene Odom. The lot comes with the following:1) Cover page only signed National Transportation Safety Report by survivors Artimus Pyle, Leslie Hawkins and Gene Odom.
