In this lot we present antique tongs from the peak of the Victorian-era. Made in England in 1865 (date is hallmarked).
The tongs are made of Silver 800. The design is in the tradition of Baroque and Gothic Revival.
Two human heads looking downward towards the scoops give these tongs own character.
The tongs have wearing due time - some oxidation, discolorations, small scratches and patina. No dents, no damages.
