1996 Buick Riviera Supercharged. This Ruby beauty has been driven 3000 miles per year. It is barely broken in. Previous owner installed new brake rotors and calipers, had new intake manifold and rocker cover gaskets installed (rest easy now). He also replaced the plastic elbow pipes with metal ones. Now the ONLY weak point in the 3.8 engine has been addressed for you, the leaky upper intake manifold gasket oil leak. The two serpentine belts have been replaced.
What I have done. A/C completely serviced. New anti-lock brake module. The supercharger was sluggish so I cured that with new boost control solenoid and bypass valve actuator. Now it is SNAPPY quick. New cat-back exhaust. New front control arm bushings. New ball joints. New front struts and strut mount kits. New rear coil-over shocks. (I disabled the air shock ride level control. I can include the parts to reinstall if you wish, but I think it rides and handles MUCH better now). New Michelin X Touring tires, less than 1000 miles on them. Changed transmission fluid and filter. Flushed Dexcool coolant and replaced with Prestone "All vehicles" formula. Installed 180F thermostat. Fresh oil/filter change. New hood and trunk struts.  New supercharger coupler. Fresh "whale oil" change. New transmission vacuum modulator. New windshield washer. New window tint. New front and rear Memphis Audio speakers from Crutchfield.
The car appears to have all original paint. You can see this is an exceptional example of the 1995-1999 Riviera series. I get 17-18 mpg around town and 27-29 mpg on the highway. All accessories are working well. I have had several 1996 Rivieras and 4 of the 1998-99 sister car, Olds Auroras. These cars are so solid and smooth. They seem like you are driving in a once piece tube. Nothing shakes or rattles, but oh boy do they roll.!
Why am I selling? I just can't help myself. I am yearning for a nice 1966-1972 Riviera. I have had 1963, 1967GS and 1971 so far. But the last one I owned was over 20 years ago. I want another one before I die or get to old to drive 120 mph safely (ha ha).
