Interior Color:
Light Blue
Body Type:

Transmission:
727 TorqueFlite Automatic
Engine:

This one is overrestored! It shines better then it did brand new. It was stripped to a bare shell, put on a rotisserie and restored in & out, top to bottom. Only 100 miles since finished. #s match motor and colors. The 340 Swinger was a budget muscle car that could run with the big boys.
EXTERIOR: Stunning, better than new. It features a performance hood with 340 engine call outs. The fit and finish is outstanding. Every square inch is straight as a rifle, the gaps are square and flush. The B3 metallic is laid out evenly. The clear coat is polished like glass, literally. New white bumble bee stripe. The trim and chrome are mint. The bumpers have show chrome. The jambs are painted slick. New weatherstrips, window seals and sill plates. It rolls on painted rims with a mint set of poverty caps and new reproduction redline tires. It also features fender mounted turn signals and remote mirror.
INTERIOR: It is about as close to new as you will find. Down on the floor is new carpet and Dart Swinger mats. The seats have been recushioned and upholstered including the headrests. It has a complete set of original blue seat belts in very good condition. Door panels have been replaced. Overhead has a new headliner, working dome light, new mirror and very good original visors. In front of me the dash pad is excellent. The chrome bezels have been replaced, instruments are clean as a whistle. Everything works from the little light over the key to the original AM radio. It has a map light switch the works. The light in the glove box works. I happened to look up under the dash and everything looks brand new, even where you aren't ever going to look. Heater box is restored. It has an aftermarket oil pressure gauge mounted below the dash.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Holy cow, the detail is amazing. Probably one of the nicest engine compartments I've ever seen. Detailed to factory specs other than it's glossier. It has it's numbers matching 340 high performance 4-barrel motor. Stock manifolds, valve covers, carb, restored air cleaner, distributor and reproduction plug wires. The heat shield is still on the exhaust manifold. It even has reproduction hoses and clamps, Mopar radiator and new shroud. Everything looks like new- brackets, pulleys, alternator, power steering pump, master cylinder. It has reproduction Mopar, properly bolted down properly with new cables. The squirters are hooked up, the wiring looks new, it has new hood insulation. The engine bay is clean metal painted glossy. The original fender tag is still attached, the VIN number on the core support matches the car.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It looks like new inside. All solid, clean metal that's been painted same color blue and clear coated. It's smooth and glossy. The trunk light works, it has a new reproduction mat, weatherstrip, seat divider and stickers.
UNDERSIDE: Holy cow! It's glossier that the topside of most cars. It was flipped on a rotisserie and made pristine. Dry clean metal floors, frame rails etc. Prepped, painted body color and clear coated. The front end steering and suspension is completely rebuilt and detailed. The rear suspension has new shocks, springs and bushings. New fuel system including the tank, straps, sending unit and stainless lines. The brake system has been completely restored. It has a disc in front, stainless lines, complete e-brake assembly. Factory correct dual exhaust system with stainless pipes and the correct chrome tips. Looking up at the motor it's spotless, the oil pan looks like it's waxed. Rebuilt starter. Rebuilt 727 Torqueflite automatic. Original 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 Sure Grip gears. Underneath this car is like art work to a car guy.
I bought this from a Mopar collector that bought it in 2017 and finished the restoration. He has only put 100 miles on since. Not too many muscle car are restored as nice as this one. Considering what a quality restoration costs, this car is a great value. Great investment too.
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
**These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded and you will be given a 1 year membership.

About Volo Auto Museum
No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum. Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960. We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos. For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion. Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB.
Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful. We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after. Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift. No reasonable request will be turned down.
Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you. We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s. Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner. This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own. We invest approximately 00 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you. So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
