    This 1949 Chrysler New Yorker is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle needs work.
    Vehicle Details
    I bought this car at the Tulsa Leake auction in July in 2000. It was a surprise for my Dad who had been drooling over the car and constantly bothering the seller. It was nicely restored and we drove it 550 miles to Houston at 70mph or better in the summer. He lived in East Texas at that time and didn’t have a garage so it deteriorated while parked outside for over a dozen years while he occasionally drove it to town running errands.
    When he was unable to drive in 2013, I drove it to my place in Richmond TX and it’s been parked since. I started it in 2019 to pull it out, wash it and take pictures, but it hasn’t been run since then.
    It’s complete and has a lot of rare parts in good condition. Anybody restoring a Town and Country, 2 Dr New Yorker, or Woodie Wagon? Make an offer, ya never know.
