    1893 Louvre Pattern R. Wallace & Sons Sterling Ornate Sugar Tongs
    It s about 4 1/8" long
    It weighs about 26 grams
    It is monogrammed "can't figure it out"
    It is really charming and will make a statement with your tea set
    Robert Wallace was born in 1815 and by 1833 had his own silver shop. By 1871 it became R. Wallace & Sons.
    These sugar tongs are from that "RWS" era that began in 1871. The company produced a lot of flatware well into the 1900's.
